Last year I designed this logo as a favor, and I always knew it would go to good use.
“Pink Tutus for a Cure was created to help bring awareness and raise money for a cure for breast cancer. This event was created in honor of one of our staff members at the Black Olive who was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent surgery to remove this life threatening disease. Breast cancer has affected so many of the staff at the Black Olive; my mother-in-law Jackie, and the Black Olive’s own, Olga, have survived breast cancer, while Renee’s mother and cousin have passed away due to this disease. These people are the very reason this cause means so much to us.”
– Danny Espinoza, co-founder of Pink Tutus for a Cure
You can read more about Pink Tutus for a Cure on their facebook page and if you’d like, you can even donate money to their cause. OR if you’re in the Syracuse, NY area on September 28th, you can attend the event downtown at The Black Olive!
It sounds cliche, but honestly, every little bit counts, and if you’d like to feel all warm and fuzzy inside, support a cause that has passionate people behind it.
