[352] Mellow Yellow

352

I slept in until 10 and then got breakfast with my muchacho. Post food coma, we watched some football and I even rooted for the Green Bay Packers…something that I can honestly say felt so wrong. Next weekend I can wholeheartedly root for the Seahawks. Woo hoo!

Also, I think Doug wants someone to paint him like the French girls.

[350] Old in a Good Way

350

After an exhausting day at work, just kidding, it felt good to just go home and relax a little bit. I managed to catch the sunset light in my apartment which always brings a smile to my soul. My boyfriend came over after his band practice, he has a show tomorrow at Rendezvous in Belltown, and we went and grabbed some pho, which I hadn’t experienced in Seattle yet. It was an easy, mellow night, and even though I got into bed before 11, I couldn’t have been happier.

[267] Edible Nuggets

267

I did lots of stuff around the house today and just mellowed out.  I also discovered the Reese’s mini peanut butter cups that I hid in my fridge, and I went apeshit on those little nuggets of pure bliss (sorry, Dove.) Tonight, while I’m couch sitting as the little nugget sleeps upstairs, I will be overdosing on sugar.

[147] Lagging Jetlag

147

My jetlag caught up with me, so I’m going to be a little whiny, but I promise it will be short. I couldn’t stay awake at work, and even though I downed an enormous coffee, it didn’t help at all. LUCKILY I had a special lunch mid-day which woke me up a little bit, and helped speed up the second half of the day. Willed my way to the gym and now I’m ready to mellow out and kick this jetlag’s ass, by sleeping.

[007] Killer Clouds

007

Today was just lovely. It was very mellow, and relaxing, but I got enough done to feel satisfied. I had dinner with my Aunt and Uncle at a place in downtown Kirkland, that was also just lovely. I put my recently lucky orange underwear on for the SU game starting at 8am tomorrow, and now I’m off to bed. Apologies to my east coast readers who didn’t get to read a post on Friday.
