[253] You Can’t Ruin My Day, Rain.

253

Today was a buttload of good times. Started out with brunch in Queen Anne with a boy, his roommate, and her sister-in-law. From there we caught a bus downtown, and then walked in the pouring rain to the waterfront to get on an Elliot Bay cruise. We boozed, cruised, and dried off as much as we could. Luckily on the walk back up to hit Pike Place Pub, the rain mostly stopped, and I wasn’t nearly as wet and uncomfortable. After some drinks and foods we caught another bus back to Queen Anne and just hung out. Listened to music, talked books a little bit, and…just…hung out. The boy’s roommate’s sister-in-law made lasagna and garlic bread for dinner and we all watched Inception, drank wine, and then watch Pitch Perfect. It was kind of really great.

[219] Marathons

219

I’m not a runner, so I apologize if you thought I’d be talking about moving my body 26.2 with just my legs. I will actually be talking about TV show/movie marathons.

Sunday is a really good day for TV marathons, especially when the weather is bad or you’re still recovering from the day and/or night before. (I feel like the crappier the weather is, the better the marathons on TV are. There has got to be some sort of correlation.) I happen to be a fan of Harry Potter and James Bond movie marathons. It doesn’t matter how many times I’ve seen the movies, I still really enjoy them.

And I had ice cream for dinner, so there’s that too.

[079] Memes Pick Me Up

079

I’ve been in an unexplainable funk today. At first I thought it might be a hangover from Syracuse losing last night, but that wasn’t it. I went to go see a movie thinking that might help, but the movie was so depressing that my funk got worse.

There are 2 things that always seem to make me feel better: memes and chocolate Chex. I’m overindulging in both right now.
