[101] Quirks

101

I’m flexing my sharing skills by showing you some of the peanut butter M&Ms that I ate today.

I’m pretty sure that I have a super minor case of OCD, self-diagnosed, of course. I’ve always done this weird thing with candies that have a bunch of different colors. With M&Ms, for example, I start out by making multiple piles. The first pile has every possible color i.e. red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and brown. I make as many of those piles as I can. Then, as colors become depleated, the piles become smaller and smaller, until I’ve sorted all the candies. This sounds like a long process, but I’ve been doing it for such a long time that before I even realize I’ve done it, the piles are made…it’s second nature at this point. I start by eating the smallest pile first, and work my way up to the perfect piles. As I eat each pile, they go into my mouth in rainbow order. Totally weird, right? I guess it could be considered extreme organization. There are other quirks that I started thinking about that I guess could be categorized as OCD-ish but I think one example is enough for today.
